PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high current-collecting efficiency by improving a welding property of a negative electrode current collecting plate 3 in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which a reel electrode body 2 formed by interposing a separator 22 between a positive electrode 23 and a negative electrode 21 in the inside of an electrical can 1 is accommodated, and a negative electrode current collecting plate 3 and a positive electrode current-collecting plate 30 is welded in both end portions of the reel electrode body 2. SOLUTION: In a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to this battery, the edge of a negative electrode 21 protrudes in one end portion from both end portions of a reel electrode body 2, and a negative electrode current-collecting plate 3 is joined in the one end portion. The negative electrode current-collecting plate 3, have a double structure of a copper layer portion 31, consisting of copper or alloy compounded copper mainly and nickel layer portion 32 consisting of nickel or alloy. |
