PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of difficulty in power consumption reduction only by turning off a fixing heater or cooling heater corresponding to insistence on the recent insistent necessity for reduction of power consumption. SOLUTION: The image forming device has a power source, which can be turned on/off, and a circuit configuration capable of turning on/off the power source. When reducing power consumption, one part of a circuit and the power source of a unit are turned off so that power consumption can be reduced and further power consumption reduction can be achieved. Thus, the image forming device of low power consumption can be provided. |
