PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which prevents a toner from being melted and stuck to the surface of a photoreceptor drum by a cleaning blade, does not consume the toner wastefully nor generates inconvenience such as spattering of the toner. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a photoreceptor drum having a cleaning blade arranged in contact with its surface, executes main charging and image exposure to he surface of the photoreceptor drum turning at a fixed circumferential speed to form an electrostatic latent image, develops the electrostatic latent image to form a toner image on the surface of the photoreceptor drum, transfers and fixes the toner image onto a prescribed material to be transferred and removes electricity on the surface of the photoreceptor drum and cleans the surface of the photoreceptor drum by the cleaning blade after transferring of the toner image. In the device, the photoreceptor drum is set so as to be driven and rotated by switching its rotation from the starting rotation set at a low circumferential speed to the rotation set at the fixed circumferential speed. |
