PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charging device which is capable of setting the rise and fall of an electrostatic charging AC voltage at different time with inexpensive constitution without increasing control signal lines and allows the shortening of a fast print time by shortly setting the rise time at ON. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charging AC high voltage power source circuit of the electrostatic charging device consists of a clock signal generating circuit 1, a filter 2 which cuts the high-frequency component of a clock signal and outputs a sinusoidal wave. an amplifier circuit 3 which amplifies the signal of the sinusoidal wave, a high voltage conversion circuit 4 which boosts the output of the amplifier circuit 3, a current detecting resistor 5 which converts the current flowing in the conversion circuit 4 to voltage, a half-wave rectifier circuit 6 which subjects the converted voltage to half-wave rectification and outputs a peak value (effective value), an error amplifier 7 which outputs the voltage meeting the difference between the outputs of the rectifier circuit 6 and a delay circuit 9, a standard voltage output circuit 8 which inputs the reference voltage of the electrostatic charging AC, a delay circuit 9 which delays the output of the output circuit 8 and inputs the same to the error amplifier 7 and an electrostatic charging DC output circuit 10 which outputs the same DC voltage as the electrostatic charging voltage.
