PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save the material used for manufacturing a fin-coil type heat exchanger having many plate fins and a tube by reducing the thicknesses of the tubes as much as possible without reducing the pressure resistance of the tube. SOLUTION: A fin-coil type heat exchanger is constituted of many plate fins 3, a straight tube 4, and a U-shaped bent tube 5 inserted into the opened end section of the tube 4. In the heat exchanger, the burring working section 2 of the plate fins 3 is provided on the outer periphery of the straight tube 4 to the inserting section into which the end section of the bent tube 5 is inserted at the end section of the straight tube 4.
