PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fin type heat exchanger which can be manufactured and scrapped rationally and a device utilizing the exchanger. SOLUTION: In a fin type heat exchanger 300, tubular bodies 11 through which a working fluid 20 is made to flow are passed through many fins 12 in many rows and the rows are divided into groups of small numbers of a plurality of rows. Each unit fin type heat exchanger 350 is constituted of the divided small number of a plurality of rows. The heat exchanger 300 having an aimed shape and size is constituted by arranging a plurality of unit heat exchangers 350 and, at the same time, fixing both end portions of the exchangers 350 with prescribed fixing bodies 360. Therefore, the heat exchanger 300 can be constituted easily in a linearly arranged type or curvedly arranged type and, at the same time, can be disassembled easily at the time of scrapping the heat exchanger. In order to easily separate the fins 12 from the tubular bodies 11 at the time of scrapping the exchanger 300, wire rods 50 are put on the outer peripheries of the tubular bodies 11 along the longitudinal directions of the bodies 11 and the fins 12 are cut by pulling the wire rods 50 outward. A device utilizing the heat exchanger 300 includes an air conditioner.
