A heating stove for burning solid fuels having a generally cylindrical hollo w configuration including a rear arcuate closed end and a front open end defining a combusti on chamber. The heating stove further includes an arcuate baffle plate, a plurality of heat shields and a vertical air chamber having a tortuous air pathway for preheating combustion chamber air. The base consists of front and rear supports. The entire interior casing, the acuate baffle plate and flue are glass lined.
