PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data distributing method which distributes data by using a network, etc., and prevents distributed data from being duplicated. SOLUTION: This invention is characterized by the use of an individual identifying device such as a magnetic tape, an IC chip, etc., where a unique number or character string is recorded. After the unique information recorded on the individual identifying device is sent from a terminal device to a server, data are ciphered by using the information and distributed to the terminal device and the data are reproduced while deciphered by using the unique information recorded on the individual identifying device as a deciphering key. The distributing method for data is characterized that data are distributed in the form of a recording medium or printed matter in addition to network distribution. |
