SOLUTION: This photographing device 100 for photographing a subject is equipped with a lens 28 forming the image of the subject at a specified position, a lens cover 72 protecting the lens 28 when the device 100 does not photograph the subject, and a rotary shaft 76 moving the cover 72 in a direction nearly perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens 28, and the cover 72 is provided with an area indication part 74 indicating a photographing range when the device 100 photographs the subject.
