PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element array module and its manufacturing method wherein connection efficiency between an end face light emitting type optical element array and an optical fiber array connector is high and uniform optical connection is realized by each channel of the array when the end face light emitting type optical element array is face-up connection mounted onto an optical element mounting substrate. SOLUTION: In the optical element array module, the end face light emitting type optical element array 13 is face-up connection mounted onto the mounting surface of the optical element mounting substrate 11, and a lens array block 31 wherein a lens array is formed in the end face of the optical element mounting substrate 11 is piled up and fixed onto an optical connector housing 41 into which an optical connector ferrule 51 holding the end part of the optical fiber array is freely attachably and detachably inserted so that the end face light emitting point column of the optical element array 13, a lens array 34 condensing laser beams emitted from the end face light emitting point column and an optical fiber array 54 are optically connected.
