PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighter capable of mass production not only manually but also by an automated machine at a low cost. SOLUTION: This method comprises the first process wherein a tank body is vertically reversed and a fuel is injected, the second process wherein the tank body is vertically reversed to an original state and then a burner section and a nozzle section are fallen into a first chamber of the tank body, the third wherein a lever for opening and closing a fuel flow passage is dropped while sliding a first groove, the fourth where a piezoelectric section is fallen into a third chamber of the tank body, the fifth wherein a handle assembly obtained by integrally assembling an operation handle and an electrode assembly is dropped into a second chamber of the tank body, and the sixth where a metal cap 7 is mounted horizontally.
