PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the usage of a device and a terminal which are the same kind as a client device with a transfer right and as a contents usage terminal when a problem occurs in their tamper resistance property. SOLUTION: An LCM-ID list for specifying the client device being the same kind as the one where it is exposed that a problem exists in tamper resistance property and a PD-ID list for specifying the contents usage terminal being the same kind as the one with the problem are registered in an effectiveness examining device 51. An effectiveness confirming processing is started in the client device 13, its LCM-ID is transmitted to the device 51, it is inspected whether coincidence exists or not, state information of the device 13 is turned off in the case of coincidence and, after that, the usage of the device 13 is inhibited. Concerning the contents usage terminal 19, contents transfer is requested to the device 13 and, then, the device 13 inspects whether coincidence with PD-ID of the terminal 19 exists and is registered in the device 51 or not. When it is registered, state information of the terminal 19 is turned off. |
