PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bore measuring apparatus which enables simply bore measurement with high precision. SOLUTION: This bore measuring apparatus is equipped with a supporting stand 20 mounting an object W to be measured, a measurement reference post 16 which is arranged in the central part of the stand 20 and forms the origin in a plane containing an object mounting surface of the stand 20, three contact shoes 22 which are mutually isolated and arranged along the peripheral part of the post 16 and can move along the radial direction from the post 16, and displacement sensors 62 detecting positions of the contact shoes with respect to the post 16. When each of the three contact shoes abuts against the inner peripheral surface of the object W, the diameter of a circle against which the three contact shoes abut is calculated from detected values of the respective sensors 62, thereby measuring the bore of the object to be measured.
