PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peculiar system that is very easy to use, efficient and of good cost efficiency to use a simple actuator that is mounted at an edge card and supported by itself, and, in addition, to enable using various species of daughter board thickness without the degradation of a spring performance of connector. SOLUTION: Electric connector systems 10, 10A include an insulated housing 22 that has a pair of wings 28, and a card receiving slot 32 is formed between the wings 28. On the housing 22, plural terminals 34 are mounted. A contact part 44 of the terminal is placed at both sides of the slot 32. An edge card 16 has an edge 14 that can be inserted into the slot 32. Actuators 18, 18A are mounted on the edge card 16 and supported by it. An arm 50 of the actuator is related to the terminal 34 operationally, and in response to the insertion of the edge card 16 into the slot 32, the contact part 44 of terminal 34 is biased so as to be engaged at the both faces of the edge card 16.
