PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery-driven electric vehicle which can move by urgently operating the vehicle when a battery in the vehicle is depleted. SOLUTION: An electric vehicle A is operated by driving a motor 2 which a built-in battery 1. A switching element 3 which adjusts the power supplied to the motor 2 is connected in series with the battery 1 and motor 2. In addition, a terminal 4 for connecting emergency battery pack is provided in parallel with the battery 1 in such a way that the terminal 6 of an emergency battery pack 5 can be connected to the terminal 4 in a freely attachable/detachable state.
