<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for installing a supply pipe such that a joint can be installed at a takeout part while working hours and man hours, including the time during which the supply of gas is shut off, are reduced by eliminating the need for boring work for exposing a line. SOLUTION: The construction method comprises inserting a new line 1A into an existing line 1 to renew the existing line, and installing the takeout part of the supply pipe 10 in a portion of the renewed area thereof. A working robot 2 provided with double telescopic stoppers 3 opposite to each other across the takeout position, and a boring machine 5A and a fusion machine 9 mounted on a frame 4 provided between the stoppers 3, is inserted from the end of the renewed line 1A, with the stoppers 3 expanded and brought into intimate contact with the inner surface of the takeout position to position the robot 2. Then the boring machine 5A bores a hole from the inner surface of the line 1A renewed at the takeout position, and a takeout joint 7 conveyed by the working robot 2 is projected outwardly from the inner surface of the boring position in the renewed line 1A. The saddle surface of the takeout joint 7 is fused by the fusion machine 9 to the inner surface of the renewed line 1A.</p> |
