PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radome capable of reducing interference due to external radio waves when a radar system is not used. SOLUTION: This radome 10 is provided with a liquid crystal layer 12, control electrode layers 13 applying an electric field to the layer 12 and a power supply 9. In the layer 12, a dielectric constant is changed when the electric field is applied from the power supply 9 through the layers 13. Therefore, a dielectric constant and thickness when the electric field is applied are selected so as to be able to transmit the radio wave of the operating frequency of a radar antenna 2.
