PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel and manufacturing method therefore, which can control surface roughness of a rigid and tight membrane and also the top portion of a partition with high accuracy in melt-spinning membrane and also allows a low-priced and high quality display. SOLUTION: A plasma display panel is readily formed by coating a thick membrane or a sealing material on the upper portion of a thermal spray membrane formed by thermal spraying method.
