A plant protector comprising a shaped blank of board material erectable into a tubular form by folding along longitudinal fold lines so that in the erected protector each fold line defines a corner of the protector. At least one tab that is displaceable inwardly to define a passage for receiving a stake. The stake extends through the interior of the protector and is located between the corner portion and the inwardly displaced tab.
