PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a fault of necessity of executing a special heat insulation at piping when a user side refrigerant circuit is used for a cold storage application or a freezing application in a conventional refrigerator for allowing an oil of a heat source side refrigerant circuit not to flow to the user side refrigerant circuit. SOLUTION: In the refrigerator comprising a heat source side refrigerant circuit 21 and a user side refrigerant circuit 22, a high pressure and a low pressure of a closed circuit 23 of the heat source side refrigerant circuit are respectively operated at a plurality of tanks 15, 16 of the circuit 22 through bypass circuits 30, 31 with opening/closing valves 32, 33, 34, 35.
