PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath furnace with a hot water supply device having a proportional valve commonly used in the hot water supply side and a bath side in which hot water can be suitably added to a bathtub by correctly deciding the amout of hot water remaining in the bathtub. SOLUTION: In a bath furnace 1 with a hot water supply device for controlling the amount of gas supplied to a hot water supply device part 2 and a bath furnace part 3 by using a common proportional valve 40, hot water in a bathtub 58 is temporarily heated again. At this time, the cumulative value of the quantity of heat applied to the hot water in the bathtub 58 is calculated from the control current value of the proportional valve 40 <S51 to S54). Further, the temperature of the hot water in the bathtub 58 before and after the hot water is heated again is measured <S47 and S56) to calculate the amount of remaining hot water from the cumulative value of the quantity of heat and the rising temperature of the hot water (S57).
