PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary cell that has improved performance, deduces capacity occurred in the charging and discharging cycle, and has high capacity. SOLUTION: This lithium secondary cell uses a negative electrode, in which Mg2Sn inter-metal compound alloy having crystallization structure of a rhombic system, especially Mg2Sn inter-meta compound alloy, made of mixture phase of cubic crystal phase and rhombic crystal phase, is a negative electrode active material. Mg2Sn inter-metal compound alloy having the mixture phase can be manufactured using a mechanical alloying method using ball milling and adjusting the ball mill time. |
