PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mounted type display system provided with a line-of-sight detecting function for education and training capable of recording the movement of the line of sight with respect to a displayed picture or indicating a point to notice by using a marker. SOLUTION: By radiating infrared light from an infrared light source 2 to an eyeball 6, a simulation observation image formed in an image generator 9 is displayed on a display part 1, and the image reflected by a concave mirror 3 is observed by a trainee 7. A CCD camera 5 picks up an eyeball image and a cornea reflected image, and a line-of-sight detection circuit 8 calculates the position of the line of sight from the signal. The position of the line of sight is stored in a storage device 13a in synchronization with the observation image. Then, the observation image formed in the image generator 9 and line-of-sight position information are superimposed and synthesized by a computer 12 and displayed on the display part 1 and a monitor TV 10. The marker is put on the notable point of the observation image by a marker operation device 12b. |
