PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method whereby a terminal body can be easily attached to a control valve unit by means of a simple arrangement during the assembly of an automatic transmission for an automobile. SOLUTION: This terminal body for electrically connecting the control valve of the automatic transmission to the control device has a guide member into which a guide bar provided on the control is inserted. When the terminal body to be electrically connected to the control valve via a cable is attached to the control valve, the length of the guide member or the guide bar is set such that even if the cable is elongated to its maximum length, the guide bar can be kept inserted in the guide member.
