PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developer carrier which is free from toner spent on the carrier surface and from peeling of a resin coating film, thereby forming a fine image. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic carrier having at least a resin coating film, the resin coating film contains an electrification controlling agent and a resin component prepared by crosslinking a thermoplastic resin and a melamine resin.
