PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device by which light is distributed so that a peripheral part may be bright and excellent light distribution characteristic is obtained even in the case of photographing using a wide-angle lens, especially. SOLUTION: This stroboscopic device is provided with an optical panel 3 in front of a cylindrical light emitting tube 1 and a reflector 2, and also provided with a diverging action part 3a diverging luminous flux to the periphery at the center part of the panel 3, and the action part 3a is constituted of a Fresnel lens surface, a negative lens surface or a prism train obtained by juxtaposing plural prisms.
