PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide position to include a plurality of display objects in a scanning space of a screen is in stereoscopic image display where a stereoscopic image of the display object is displayed by projecting an image onto the screen scanning periodically a prescribed space so as to cause an after-image effect. SOLUTION: An object placing section 93 decides a position of each of objects included in the display object in the scanning space of the screen on the basis of an optical arrangement condition obtained from an arrangement condition entry section 92. Then three-dimensional image data with respect to the display object are generated on the basis of the arrangement and given to a cross-sectional image generating section 95. The cross-sectional image generating section 95 generates a plurality of cross-sectional image of the display object including a plurality of the objects corresponding to each scanning position of the screen on the basis of the decided arrangement.
