PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for inspection which can inspect a weld zone with simple constitution without breaking the weld zone nor a constituting member. SOLUTION: The interconnector 3 and a solar battery cell 4 are welded together and a camera 1 for image input is arranged right above the weld zone 5. A picked-up image is processed by an image processor 10 to measure the area of the weld zone 5, the cosine of the oblique side of a slanting surface 21 at the periphery of the weld zone 5, and the length of the slanting surface 21. Then an arithmetic unit 11 compares them with previously set values to decide whether or not the weld zone 6 is good.
