PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas shut-off device capable of avoiding occupation of a communication line due to alarms to events such as an earthquake, an abnormality of a gas pressure or the like occurring concentratively at a particular district. SOLUTION: An even simultaneously occurring in a predetermined district such as an earthquake or the like is generated as an alarm even by an alarm event generator 11, a delay time from the occurrence of the event to executing of alarming is held by a delay time holder 12, and measuring of its lapse time from the occurrence of the event is started by a delay time timer 13. Then, when at the delay time has elapsed, alarm execution command is generated, and the event is informed and communication of alarm on the alarm event to the outside is performed according to the command by a communication unit 4.
