PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message transmission system that can transmit a message in matching with each recipient. SOLUTION: In the message transmission system of this invention, a message text preparing section 6 generates a text of a message transmitted to a recipient designated by a subscriber while referencing attribute data for each subscriber stored in a subscriber attribute database section 1. A voice synthesis section 8 synthesizes the message text into a voice signal in voice and countenance designated by the subscriber and the resulting voice signal is sent to the recipient through a public telephone line. Since the attribute data of each subscriber being a message sender is reflected in the message text, the message is very adequate to the recipient.
