PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for quickly and surely connecting a cable with each mechanical element, without having to disconnect and for adjust the length of the cable. SOLUTION: This system is for adjusting and assembling the remote controller of a mechanical cable for transmitting control between a transmitting machine element and a receiving machine element via a flexible transmission cable. The pin 20 of the terminal 30 of a transmission cable 3' is provided with a circular notched part or recessed part 23 positioned between a connected head part 21 and a bar-shaped part 22 with a screw thread of the pin 20. At the time of assembling the system, the pin 20 is constituted so as to be fit into a corresponding elliptical notched or recessed hole 25, formed at the end part of the mechanical element 4' so that the pin 20 can be fixed to the end part of the mechanical element 4' at the more satisfactory adjusting point of the length of the transmission cable 3'.
