PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range finder capable of easily reducing the size by omitting a contact region provided in the constituting part of a shading box and forming the shading box easily and surely connecting without contacting instead of contacting. SOLUTION: For a range finder consisting of a pair of lenses 1 facing to a ranging object, a pair of light sensor array 4 arranged on the focus plane through the lens 1, and a shading frame 2a and 3a having stops 2b and 3b limiting the light in between the lens 1 and the light sensor array 4 in a shading box, a coupling body 3 arranged facing to a plate couple-in part 3c having flexibility is installed inside the shading box 2 in the state that the outer surface of the couple-in part is contacted to the inner wall of the shading box 2. A convex projection 5 provided on the couple-in part 3c is coupled in the concave hole 6 (for example, a through hole 6c penetrating the wall of the shading box) provided to the shading box 2, and a range finder formed with the shading box capable of surely coupling by non-contact and small-sizing can be obtained. |
