METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of longitudinal lines of fluorescent ink on the panel with a total pitch of the ink ejection nozzle due to dispersion in the diameter of ink ejection opening of the nozzle or of the straightness of the ink ejection. SOLUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a front cover plate provided with electrodes and a glass layer, a back plate provided with electrodes and a fluorescent layer, partitions arranged in at least one of the front cover plate and the back plate with each electrode of the front cover plate facing corresponding electrode of the back plate with a gap between them, and a dischargeable gas medium sealed in the space between the two plates. The panel is fired after coating with changing the speed of ejecting the ink from the nozzle into the inside of the partition walls within the rate so as to cause fluctuation of the ink to be within the overflow range ink in the partition walls.
