PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an optical pickup device compact in structure and low in cost by realizing an optical prism in which optical parts for composing/ decomposing two light fluxes different in wavelength are integrated. SOLUTION: This optical prism is a compound prism 401 possessing plural prisms joined into one unit and is provided with a function of composing the optical paths of two kinds of light fluxes different in wavelength and a function of decomposing such optical paths. |
