<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for generating clock, with which a synchronizing clock is generated on the basis of an analog signal to be inputted. SOLUTION: The average value of maximum and minimum values of a digital signal within a prescribed period is used as a threshold value, rise time and fall time are detected while using the digital signal, a time interval between the adjacent rise time and fall time is found for the prescribed period, the minimum value of this time interval is defined as an input rate and on the basis of the input rate, the synchronizing clock is outputted.</p> |
