<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer controller and an electronic apparatus that can realize high-speed data transfer while abiding by the restriction of keeping a page border. SOLUTION: The data transmission controller in compliance with the IEEE 1394 standards is provided with a page table fetch circuit 210 that fetches a page table from an opposite node when a page table is in existence in a data buffer of an initiator, a page table preparing circuit 220 that prepares a virtual page table when no page table is in existence, and an SBP-2 core that automatically divides transfer data into a series of packets not in excess of each page border based on the fetched or generated page table and transfers the packets. The page table preparing circuit 220 generates a page table where a part between a table address and a K-th page border forms an X-type page table element, a part between K-th and L-th page borders forms a Y-type page table element and a part between the L-th page border and an end address forms a Z-type page table element.</p> |
