A compound of formula I, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a prodrug thereof wherein A is a bridged ring selected from formulae 1-5 wherein, R1 and R2 are each independently selected from hydrogen and methyl, R3 and R4 are each independently selected from hydrogen or methyl, n is an integer of from 1 to 4 and, m is an integer of from 0 to 2. These compounds are useful as agents in the treatment of epilepsy, faintness attacks, hypokinesia, cranial disorders, neurodegenerative disorders, depression, anxiety, panic, pain, and neuropathological disorders.
