PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector which can press and move a card 10 having been inserted into a frame body 14 in its extraction direction and has a high degree of freedom of designing. SOLUTION: A flexible wire member 30 which is flexible in its bending direction and does not shrink along the length is inserted into a tube 32 which is flexible in its bending direction and does not extend along the length so that the member 30 freely moves along the length. One end part of the tube 32 is fixed to a frame body 14 so that one end surface of the flexible wire member 30 faces the insertion-side tip surface of the card 10 having been inserted into the frame body 14 and freely moves in the insertion/extraction directions. The flexible wire member 30 is elastically energized by a spring member 42. The other end side of the flexible wire member 30 is pressed in the tube 32 against the elasticity of the spring member 42, and then the tip end surface of the card into which one end surface of the flexible wire member 30 has been inserted is pressed so as to press and move the card in the extraction direction. |
