PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft connecting structure of a cross flow fan allowing easy connection of the cross flow fan to an output shaft of a motor without using a tool such as a screwdriver and removing a blade of the cross flow fan. SOLUTION: A mounting boss 14 having a screw hole 14a is disposed at one end of a cross flow fan 2. The output shaft 4 of the motor 3 is provided with a screw portion 5 screwing into the screw hole 14a in the mounting boss 14 of the cross flow fan 2. The screw portion 5 of the output shaft 4 of the motor 3 is rotated in the same direction as the rotation direction during a blowing operation of the cross flow fan 2 to be screwed into the screw hole 14a in the mounting boss 14 of the cross flow fan 2.
