PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device excellent in operability and display performance, and capable of displaying a part or all of a read image in magnification or reduction scale based on the instruction of a selected magnification factor and thereby monitoring the image. SOLUTION: This image display device is separately provided with a preliminary VRAM 14 that is used for displaying a magnification factor requiring a prescribed time or over of read time from an image memory 22 of a copying machine main body storing a read image and stores reduced images. An entered magnification allows a selector 16 to select a memory storing an image to be given to a magnification device (available of common use of a means of the copying machine main body) 23e so as to attain selection of a desired display magnification at a high speed. |
