PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defective image such as the dirty rear side of a recording material without lowering a fast printing time. SOLUTION: In this image forming device having a photoreceptor drum 21 carrying a toner image, a transporting belt 1 for carrying and transporting a recording material P, a transferring means 3 for transferring the toner image on the drum 21 to the material P carried by the belt 1, a cleaning blade 25 and a waste toner container 26 for recovering a remaining toner remaining on the drum 21 after transferring of the toner image, before the toner image is formed on the drum 21, the toner stuck to the drum 21 is transferred to the belt 1 and before the belt 1 and the material P reaches positions (a contact part M and an absorbing part N) where carrying of the belt 1 and the material P is started, the material P completely passes through the position. |
