PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to perform print operation with designated pixel density only by performing print starting operation once in an image forming device, which changes the pixel density of an electrostatic latent image by switching the surface linear velocity of a photoreceptor, for forming the electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photoreceptor, making that electrostatic latent image visible as toner image, transferring that toner image on a recording sheet, passing that recording sheet between a fixing roller and a heating roller and fixing the toner image on the recording sheet with the operation of heat and pressure at such a time. SOLUTION: When the temperature of a fixing roller 16 reaches a target temperature corresponding to the designated pixel density after a print start signal is inputted, print operation is started by rotating a photoreceptor 2. |
