PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation performed by temporarily releasing a hand from a grip when an operation member concerning a zoom preset function is separated from the grip. SOLUTION: This zoom control device is equipped with a grip part 5 which can be held with the hand, a zoom operation member 4 which can be operated with the hand holding the grip part, and a zoom preset operation member for storing and reproducing a zoom state. The zoom preset operation member is constituted of a 1st operation member 2 provided at a position where it can be operated with the specified finger of the hand holding the grip part and selectively setting a state where the storing action of the zoom state can be performed and a state where the reproducing action thereof can be performed and a 2nd operation member 3 provided at a position where it can be operated with a finger different from the specified finger of the hand holding the grip part and executing the storing action and the reproducing action of the zoom state in accordance with the set state by the 1st operation member.
