PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize, an image inverted memory using SDRAM. SOLUTION: This is a memory system for inverting pixels of an image, and a memory device has plural memory cells arranged in 1st and 2nd banks of memory rows, and this arrangement permits to make access to any pixel of the memory rows without waiting for a set-up time after the rows are activated, and further, memory write operations to the 1st and 2nd banks are able to be alternate. A memory controller is configured to store a 1st stream of pixels in the memory device as a successive pixel group, and a pixel group containing pixels adjoining in the 2nd direction is to be stored in rows corresponding to the plural memory rows.
