PURPOSE: A television is provided to have a function of supplying an initial channel and a continuous selection menu in accordance with a user, so as to automatically set information according to each user and make the users select functions as well as transmitting pre-inputted messages. CONSTITUTION: A user input key(21) recognizes a user. The recognized user collects functions in accordance with time zones or days, and sorts out the collected functions to store the functions in a storage. An initial channel and a continuous selection menu are supplied by the user's interest according to the stored contents of the storage, depending on information of the recognized user.
