<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize and make thin the whole device by simplifying the transmission of driving power to reel pedestals in a reel driving mechanism. SOLUTION: In the reel driving mechanism having on the movable chassis 2 side, a pair of reel pedestals 10, 11 engaged with the reel of a tape cassette, rotating gears 10a, 11a respectively fixed to the reel pedestals 10, 11 and a swing gear 17 selectively transmitting rotational power to the rotating gears 10a, 11a in a movable chassis type magnetic recording/reproducing device having a slide means which moves the tape cassette forward up to the recording/ reproducing position linked with the slide movement of the movable chassis 2 in the state that the tape cassette is loaded on the reference position, a reel pedestal driving motor 21 is arranged in the movable chassis 2, and the driving power of the motor 21 is transmitted to the reel pedestal via plural reduction means 12, 13, 14, 15 or the like.</p> |
