PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber film forming device equipped with an optical fiber holder which does not disperse optical fibers in spite of a centrifugal force generated while the optical fibers are stored, fixed, and rotated together. SOLUTION: The optical fiber film forming device is equipped with a rotary holder 11 which is driven by a rotary shaft 631 inserted airtightly penetrating a vacuum chamber 60 of a sputter film forming device and an optical fiber holder 80 formed of a cashing 12 fixed to the rotary holder 11 and also has optical fiber holding cases 13 fitted in the optical fiber holder 80; and optical fibers 83 are held in the optical fiber holding cases 13 so that their tip parts to be film-formed are exposed to the outside and the optical fiber holding cases 13 are fitted to the rotary holder 11 so that their end parts where the tip parts of the optical fibers 83 are exposed to the outside are exposed.
