PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize control over whether or not editing is possible corresponding to a supply source of contents. SOLUTION: On the recording medium, pieces of identification information showing content supply sources are recorded corresponding to recorded contents and at a request to edit contents, the identification information on the contents to be edited is confirmed to control whether the editing is allowed or inhibited according to the content supply source identified with the identification information.
