PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct a space analysis of the data set by a user utilizing a digital electronic map. SOLUTION: A digital electronic map, for example 'a space database' numerical value map 2500, is read. Then, a user-set library is read. The library is linked with the 'space database' at map numbers and positions (X, Y). The library is made of many recorded items and user-set data groups are registered in each item. The user set data groups consist of symbol marks, addresses, names and attribute information. A desired map is taken out from the 'space database' and displayed on a display screen. Then, symbol marks are overlapped for all recorded items of the library and displayed. Then, writings are conducted on the display screen using a planning region mouse/keyboard. Then, a computer reads three writings, extracts user-set data (point data) within a symbol mark and sequences them in accordance with the instructions given from the outside. |
