PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the life of a tube by suppressing and preventing the partial heating of a radiant tube by the combustion flame of the burner, the thermal deformation caused by it, and thinning oxidation due to. SOLUTION: This radiant tube has such constitution that a ceramic sleeve 2 having a length projecting frontward from the tip of a burner 3 is inserted into a tube 1 from the opening of the tube on the side where the burner is installed, and that the burner 3 is installed in the inner space of that sleeve 2. The direct exposure of the inner face of the tube to the combustion flame injected from the burner is interrupted by the sleeve 2, and the partial heating of the tube, the thermal deformation caused by it, and thinning due to oxidation is suppressed and prevented. The length projecting forward beyond the burner tip of the sleeve 2 is, for example, 300-500 mm.
